Landings is a year-long practice-based research project initiated by Bean and alongside Daniella Valz Gen, exploring how somatic, performance art practices can contribute to paradigm shifts in our understanding of how nature & wild spaces affect neuroqueer humans.

I’m in the early stages of developing new work including multi-medium installation, exploring the making of and being with a series of heart sculptures made from foraged clay and blown glass. Exploring aesthetics of queer dyke lineages and their intersection with land work and making and creating DIY spaces, I’m currently working on a choreographic performance negotiating these physical desires whilst harnessed/bound to a clay land heart. Working with the glandular system in the human body in relation to the glandular and organ system in the land itself, is an exploration of working at underground levels of mutual repair.
